Dog Show

Each year in June we hold a Fun Day and Companion Dog Show. In 2007 we will be trialling an indoor venue for the first time in order to take no chances with the weather! This will be the Loreburn Hall in Dumfries - full details will appear on this page soon.

We run stands at many events such as the agricultural fairs, community days and gala days. These are manned by volunteers.

What a day. Our Annual Fun Day Dog Show Raised £3340.83
December fundraising a great success! Thanks to you all.

Three successive events, the Christmas Fayre on 28th November, the Star for Life ceremony on 6th December, and GLADD Day only a week later, have all proved just how hardworking and dedicated our events committee are!
Homevisitors Required

We are currently looking to recruit more volunteer homevisitors. If you have some spare time and have some knowledge of dogs then please contact the centre.

Donations

We would appreciate donations of non-perishable goods for tombolas and raffles. There are many of these during the year and it does get quite difficult to find suitable items. If you have any unwanted gifts or can provide a bottle or two this would be a great help. Goods can be taken to either of our shops or to the kennels.

We would like to make a plea to all supporters to help out at one or other of the events. If you want any more information just contact Paul Robinson on 01556 650489 and he will put you in touch with the organiser.
