Bailey is a bundle of energy! Despite recently having his front leg amputated due to a previous injury in which he was hit by a car, he is loving life and zooming about faster than some of our four legged dogs! He is very friendly and has lots of love to give. Bailey likes to be kept busy and is eager to learn. He loves his toys and interaction. Bailey has lived with other dogs before who we are told he was okay with, albeit quite full on! He could benefit from some manners as he doesn't yet know the boundaries with all dogs. He has not spent much time with small children, but he is very sociable towards new people he meets. Bailey has been known to chase cats and is predatory towards small furry animals such as rabbits. He is house trained and okay on his own for a couple of hours. We are told Bailey enjoys the car and loves snuggling up with you in bed or in front of the fire.
We are told Bailey has had 2 previous homes before being brought in for rehoming. His latest owners had him for 6 months but he proved a bit too much for their other animals. He would chase the horses and his owners were worried he would get hurt.
Bailey has recovered remarkably quickly from his operation and hops along at great speed. He is a very happy go lucky boy who is looking for an owner who has lots of time to commit to his training. He can be too much for other animals so may benefit from a home where he gets all the undivided attention, or housed with a well mannered, slightly more mature dog who will give him guidance on how to be calm. Bailey needs a home without small animals and he will chase livestock.
