Approx Age: 2 years
Bracken is a lively boy who has lots of love to share. He is very full on and is eager to learn some manners. Bracken has shared his home with 2 cats who we are told he was fine with, as well as a female young crossbreed pup who he was good with. He is however not good with all other dogs he meets. Bracken has on lead frustration and will bark and lunge at some dogs, in particular a black Labrador. This bouncy boy loves his toys and travels fine in a crate in the boot of car. Bracken is very affectionate but is looking for further guidance on lead as he is very strong. He loves to snuggle in bed with you if he can!
Bracken was handed in for rehoming as he got off his lead and ran over to the neighbour’s dog which caused the other owner to be unhappy about his behaviour. Bracken’s owner felt it would be best to find him a new home away from the other dog.
Bracken needs an owner who has the time and patience to train and socialise young, energetic dogs. He needs consistent training using positive reinforcement. Bracken may prove too much for children and some other dogs at this stage.
