Dan is a very friendly boy who has lots of love to give. He is nervous of loud noises and busy places so is looking for a quiet home. Dan is is tolerant of children but would prefer older children who know to give him space. His working nature can come into play when he sees other dogs and he can try and herd them. Dan shared his home with a cat for a short time and we are told he tended to ignore the cat. This handsome boy will do most things for a treat. He sleeps in his crate at night and when home alone. Dan is energetic and will need plenty of stimulation. He is okay in the car although can be a little unsettled initially but does settle. He loves attention and is very food orientated.
Dan's owner had to hand him in for rehoming due to an increase in his owner's work hours meaning he was no longer getting the interaction he deserves. He was adopted for a coupe of months but unfortunately the young child in the house would not leave him alone.
Dan requires a quiet home with owners who can provide him with lots of exercise and training. He would suit a rural home with an owner who understands the needs of working stock collies, for instance their desire to heard other animals and moving objects.
