Fly has only ever known the working farm lifestyle. She has not met new people or new dogs and therefore is very nervous to begin with. Once she gains confidence, she is very affectionate and likes a soft approach. Fly has never lived in a house before so she will need time to adjust. Fly has been used to other farm collies and came in along with Tweed, however she is quite domineering towards other dogs so may be best as an only pet. Fly is not used to walking on lead and has come from rural surroundings so is not used to traffic or busy places. She traveled in a crate in the back of a pick up and was okay although she not really been used to travelling much. Fly has not had much interaction with cats and has only seen one from a distance at the farm.
Fly was handed in for rehoming as she showed no interest in working sheep so her farmer thought she would suit a home life better where she could get the interaction she deserves.
Fly would suit a rural home, away from loud noises and lots of traffic. She has never lived with children so would suit an adult only home with a collie minded owern who will allow her the time she needs to adjust to her new surroundings.
