This pretty girl is called Lassie, she loves attention, cuddles and zooming about in the paddock. She has lived with children before and is very playful with them however may be too much for really young kids as she has been known to knock them over when she gets over excited. She has been friendly towards other dogs out on walks and her previous owners felt she may benefit from the company of another dog around the house but we are unsure how she would react to a cat. Lassie travels well in the car and copes well at the vets and greets strangers with a slightly nervous but friendly manner.
Lassie originally came to the centre as her owner felt they didn’t have the time to dedicate to her, she was soon rehomed but unfortunately has returned due to toileting in the house and howling/chewing when owners were out. This behaviour is down to separation anxiety.
Lassie is looking for an owner who can be with her most of the time as she struggles when left alone. She will need an active home and possibly one with another dog for company. With a little help in building her confidence and socialising she will make a great pet.
