Luna is a big friendly girl who seems quite relaxed here at the centre, she loves her walks and is great on the lead. She can be quite vocal in busy environments. Her previous owners have told us she has been known to snap at dogs and it seems to be quite hit or miss as to whether she gets on with them or not. Luna has lived with children in the past and was great with them but would have a growl if they were too full on. Her previous owners told us she couldn’t be trusted around cats or small animals. She is house trained and is happy to be left on her own for short periods of time. She has some recall but is easily distracted so would need support in further training. She copes ok in the car and with trips to the vets but isn’t keen on close handling until she gets to know you.
Luna's previous owners had to make the hard decision to re-home her due to a change in circumstances - they were no longer able to keep her and wanted what was best for her.
Luna would benefit from an active home with an owner who possibly has some breed experience. She is a big, strong girl so will need help in further training when out on the lead. As she isn’t keen on other dogs she would prefer a home where she can be the only pet.
