Handsome lad who is full of life!
This handsome boy loves a good walk but his favourite activity is retrieving a tennis ball. He is extremely strong and gets very over excited meeting other dogs. This can make him difficult to control, so he needs someone who can handle this behaviour when on lead. His behaviour towards other dogs is not usually aggressive, however this behaviour can cause other dogs to react which in turn can make Alfie become defensive. He would be able to live with a female dog who enjoyed his rough play. Alfie requires a rural home with experienced dog owners who are happy to continue training.
We are looking for a home without young children.
History
Alfie originally came from Spain where he was picked up as a stray. His previous owners felt they needed to rehome him as they were struggling to cope with a few of his behaviours such as on lead reactivity.
Re-homing Criteria
This big bouncy boy is looking for an experienced home where he can get help with further training and socialising. He is looking for a rural home with a secure garden.
