If you are looking for a handsome, energetic and loving best friend this boy could be the one for you. Dougal is a friendly boy looking for love. He enjoys long walks and will do anything for a treat!
His previous owners have told us that he is great with all people. He has been fully housetrained before and crate trained and behaves well at the vets. He is good with other dogs but can get over excited when meeting them whilst on lead. This over excitment leads to him barking and jumping towards the other dog and this can be misinterpreted as aggression, so we are looking for someone who is happy to continue helping him with his socialising skills.
History
This lovely boy was originally collected as a stray and rehomed around 7 months ago. Sadly he had to be returned due to his barking on lead when he saw other dogs or livestock.
Re-homing Criteria
Dougal is looking for an active, loving family. He is a typical young bouncy lurcher with bags of energy. He needs someone who can support him through socialising and training. A secure garden would be ideal and as he loves company. We are looking for someone who is home most of the time.
