This big bouncy boy is called Oscar. He is very playful but can be a little full on and is VERY strong on the lead. In his previous home he lived with children and was great with them but as he is so boisterous we won’t be rehoming him with very young children. Oscar has no experience with cats that we know of so we are unaware of how he would react to them; with other dogs he is playful but again can be very over the top which can prove too much for some other dogs. This handsome boy is house trained and crate trained, he is happy to be on his own for short periods of time and loves attention. Oscar has been known to growl at strange people, mainly men he doesn’t know. We have noticed this behaviour is worse behind the bars of the kennels. He travels well in the car, behaves at the vets and is ok with handling/grooming.
Oscar was rescued from another rescue by his previous owners, he is now looking for a new home due to their working hours changing meaning he was being left alone for too long.
Oscar is looking for an active home with owners who can handle his strength. He would need a home without young children and where he wouldn’t be left on his own for too long. He would possibly be happy with another dog if it was up to his boisterous play.
