Becca lives in Dumfries, just outside Kirkton village, with her husband Mark and teenage son Angus. The family have four dogs: Maggie an elderly rescue Border Terrier, Labradors Dram and Daisy, and Garrick a naughty Lurcher. Much of her spare time is spent walking them and exploring the beautiful Dumfriesshire countryside.
She is a small animal vet with 25 years’ experience in general practice and has been part of the vet team at Bard Vets Dumfries since 2009. During her career, she has had the opportunity to work with rehoming centres and rescue charities and had found this very enjoyable and rewarding.
She is delighted to join the team of directors and help support D&GCRC.
