As both a life member of, and foster carer for the charity, George was very happy to join the board in September 2019.
George lives just outside Stranraer, overlooking the wonderful Loch Ryan with Rusty the Springer who adopted George in 2019. With a professional career primarily in the actuarial and compliance areas of financial services, he has now 95% retired from his own consultancy business. Having previously been a parish councillor, school governor and director of a charity dealing with ex-offenders, he is proud to be working with the great team at the D&GCRC.
