Fun loving, happy-go-lucky boy!
Eddie is lovely once he gets to know you but can be anxious and wary of new people during first introductions. As Eddie was a stray, our information regarding his history is limited he does keep his kennel clean overnight indicating he may have been housetrained previously. Eddie shares his kennel with another dog but can be overprotective of resources he highly values such as food however, it may be possible for Eddie to live with another well-mannered dog going forward. We have no idea how Eddie would react to cats. We are still getting to know Eddie and will update this page with more information as we learn more about him.
History
Eddie came into the centre as an unclaimed stray.
Re-homing Criteria
Ideally, Eddie needs a quiet home with a secure garden and an owner who is home most of the time. Eddie can be overprotective of high-value items such as food, therefore he should be left alone and separated from other dogs in the home during mealtimes. Eddie may be able to live with another dog after careful introductions at the centre. We would suggest a home with no young children but would consider teens and older.
