Introducing Frank!
Frank is a friendly, sweet boy who wins hearts wherever he goes. He came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past, but what we do know is that he’s an absolute goofball who loves life. Frank enjoys playing with a female dog he’s befriended here and adores all the staff and volunteers he meets.
Frank can be a little strong on the lead, so he will need continued training to help him improve. Due to his size, strength, and unknown background, Frank is looking for a home without children and without cats.
History
Frank sadly arrived as a stray and was never claimed. Despite his rocky start, he’s blossomed into a cuddly, affectionate boy during his time with us.
Re-homing Criteria
Frank has been assessed by a behaviourist for guarding behaviours, particularly around toys. He may chew and swallow toys to prevent them from being taken away. His future family will be provided with a behaviour plan to follow, focusing on building trust and creating a safe, calm environment. Frank will need access to natural chews that are safe for him to eat and sturdy toys he can carry without the fear of losing them. His adopters must be prepared to respect his space, not constantly remove items from him, and give him time to settle.
Frank would be happiest in a quiet, child-free home where he can truly relax, build trust, and know that he’s safe.
Frank is a gentle giant who hasn’t had the best start in life, but he’s already shown what an affectionate, loving companion he can be. Could you be the one to give Frank his happy ever after?
