I love company!

Initially Lucy was quite shy whilst at the centre but now that she has bonded with us she has grown in confidence is a very energetic girl! Lucy gets quite excited when interacting with her and lacks some basic training. She is strong on the lead but friendly when out and about. Lucy enjoys her food but has toileted in her kennel during her stay here. This does not always indicate that she won’t be clean in the house as not all dogs view their kennel space as they do their home space, but house training may be required. We have found Lucy to be a quite vocal when she knows you are near and she want attention. Lucy was good whilst seeing our vet and has been enjoying her walks.

Lucy was handed into us by the council who had a call from the public that she was straying in the Dumfries area.  She was not wearing any ID on her collar and did not have a microchip. No owners have reported her missing or claimed her.

Re-homing Criteria

Lucy may need help being introduced to new animals. She is energetic and needs further training so an owner who is active and committed is recommended.
