Young lass in need of support, guidance, and consistency!
This beautiful girl is the lovely Luna! She is a young dog in desperate need of guidance. Luna has come to us from an adult-only household and has limited social experience around other dogs. She can be reactive towards other dogs and will need to learn to associate the presence of strange dogs with praise and treats via the use of counterconditioning and positive reinforcement. Luna has no experience around children but may be able to live in a household with dog-savvy teens going forward. She is housetrained, crate trained and travels well in the car
Luna was sadly handed in for rehoming due to her owner moving to accommodation that doesn’t allow pets.
Luna can be reactive towards other dogs and will need to learn to associate them with praise and treats using positive reinforcement. This will take time and patience and progress will be achieved as quickly as Luna is comfortable with. We can consider homes with dog-savvy teens but would prefer to rehome her to a household where she will be the only pet. Luna is a young, active dog and is still learning. She needs an owner with time and patience to help guide her, we are confident that in time, she will make the most wonderful, loving companion!
