A fun loving excitable boy who loves human company
Thor shares a kennel in the Centre with two other dogs. When loose running with other dogs he prefers to stay in the presence of whoever has him out rather than play with the other dogs. He loves to play ball and would retrieve endlessly. He does require some ongoing training for leash walking as he has a tendency to be over excited and pull quite strongly, however with a little effort this is something that could be sorted.
History
Thor's previous owner took him on as a failed working dog, however due to a change in employment he has been unable to keep Thor as the accommodation that comes with his job does not allow pets.
Re-homing Criteria
Thor requires a family home where he can get loads of exercise and stimulation. He is fine with children but potential owners need to be aware that he is excitable and he could easily knock very young children over.
