This lovely girl is certainly enjoying her home comforts!
Whilst at the centre Truffle had regular medicated baths which helped in the itchiness of her skin. This is common in the Shar Pei breed. Truffle also had a bit of cosmetic surgery and had a facelift to remove some of the skin layers above her eyes. It was causing her great discomfort and she was on regular eye drops to help. Truffle is not insurable for her skin as it was a pre-existing condition as well as her eyes. She may need further surgery on her eyes in the future.
