Sweet, shy lady in search of a quiet, loving home!
Daphne is a gentle, quiet lady who is wary of new people and situations. She can be flighty at times and is looking for an owner who will help her gain confidence. We have limited information regarding Daphne’s background but due to her anxious nature, we are looking for a quiet home with no young children. She can be fearful of other dogs but may be able to have a respectful canine pal in the future if the match is right. We have no information regarding her suitability with cats. Daphne may have been housetrained previously, but she will need a refresher when she moves into her new home.
History
Daphne came into the centre as an unclaimed stray.
Re-homing Criteria
Daphne is in desperate need of some tender loving care. She views the world to be a frightening place, therefore her new owner will need to help her gain confidence and gradually introduce her to new situations. As she can be flighty, a secure garden is an absolute must to keep her safe. Daphne may be able to live with another dog after being introduced at the centre, but she would prefer a quiet home with no young children. With care, attention, and guidance, we believe that Daphne will become the most loving best friend!
