A cheeky young lad in search of a lurcher-experienced home!
Melon is a cheeky young man who needs to learn some manners! He can get overly excited when he meets new people and greets them with his paws! We can consider family homes with dog-savvy children who are 5 years plus. Melon enjoys playing with Coco and would benefit greatly from the company of another dog in his new home. We will not rehome him with cats. Melon will need to be housetrained when he moves into his new home, in addition to learning social skills when meeting new people.
History
Melon was handed in for rehoming alongside Coco due to a change in their owner’s circumstances.
Re-homing Criteria
Melon is looking for an owner who has experience with young lurchers and has plenty of time to train him. A secure garden would be ideal to help with training, along with someone at home most of the time. Melon would most likely benefit from having a canine pal but would be suited better to a cat-free home. He can be overly enthusiastic, but we can consider homes with children over the age of five. Melon needs someone who will help him become a social, friendly family member.
