Lovely older, staffy looking for a 5-star home!
Poor Rico has been finding kennel life rather stressful, he would much rather be out on walks or spending time with the staff and volunteers. Rico keeps his kennel clean overnight which suggests he has been housetrained. He appears to be indifferent towards the dogs at centre but can be a typical staffy if any dogs invade his space. Rico is a laid-back lad but we’re unsure of his previous experience of children, he may be better suited to a home with older children or teens.

Re-homing Criteria
Rico is searching for a 5-star retirement home where he won’t be left alone for long periods of time. He shows signs of separation anxiety and can be rather noisy when left alone; he would benefit from learning some 'home alone' skills to cope with short amounts of time alone. Rico would prefer to the only pet in his new home, but it may be possible for him to live with older children or teens. Some prior experience with a staffy would be advantageous.
