As Brandy was rescued from a pound where she was a stray. We do not have a lot of information on her. Since coming into the kennels we have found her to be very affectionate once she knows you. She is however, very full on and still acts vey much like a puppy. As Brandy lacks socialisation, we are helping her learn how to cope in new situations and with new people and dogs. She is a very large dog, with possibly some growing yet to come. Brandy was adopted for a few days but unfortunately had to be returned as she wasn't getting on with the family cat and she was proving to be very vocal when alone initally. She loves attention and loves company. When she was at home she met another dog and got on fine with it, however she is not so friendly with certain dogs she meets, in particular female large dogs. Brandy does not have much recall, but with ongoing training, she is learning. We are currently helping her get used to walking on lead and learn some social skills. She is very full on so would be better suited to a home without young children. Brandy is very affectionate and will make someone a great pet if they are wiling to put in consistent, reward based training with her.

Brandy requires an owner who is able to continue her training. She is looking for a home where she will not be left, as she does not yet know how to cope with this in a new environment. Brandy needs time and consistency in her training and a patient owner. She is very strong, but with training, she is learning how to walk better and responds to commands. She requires an owner who can help her get used to new situations and other animals.
