This sweet girl is called Cleo, she is very affectionate once she gets to know you and loves a cuddle. Cleo is strong on the lead and doesn’t have any recall. She can be nervous of new dogs but we have been told she lived with two other dogs in her previous home and was great with them, Cleo is also happy to share her space here at the kennels with her daughter (Bell) who she came into the centre with. Having had no experience living with children we are looking for a home without them, her previous owner told us she was easily wound up by children living nearby. We have also been told Cleo would tend to cry when left alone but was much happier in the company of another dog. She can be timid when meeting new people and has a fear of the hoover. She travels well in the car and copes well at the vets. Cleo is a jumper and has been known to leap almost as high as the previous owners 6-foot fence. She is partly housetrained but will have the odd accident.
Cleo came into the centre with her daughter Bell after an incident with a cat which unfortunately didn’t survive.
Cleo is looking for a home where she could get lots of love and attention. Due to the incident with the cat we are looking for a home without cats or young children. Her previous owners felt she would do better in a home with another dog for company. She will need an owner who can dedicate time to training and socialising.
