This lovely girl is called Floss. She is very sweet and loves human company. Her previous owner told us she hasn’t lived with young children but always greeted them in a friendly manner. Her recall is good but she can be easily distracted so it would need some work and she does tend to pull a little when on the lead. We are unsure of how she would act around cats but does seem friendly towards other dogs. She came to the Centre with another Collie who she was happy sharing her space with. Floss can be quite nervous in the vets and in any new surrounding but doesn’t show any aggression. She was kept in an outside farm kennel in her previous home so will need help with house training. This lovely girl did go home for a while but had to be returned as she was showing too much interest in nearby sheep. She is not used to busy places or town environments.
Floss was brought in to the Centre as she was from a farm but had no interest in working.
Floss is looking for a home where she can get plenty exercise and mental stimulation. As she has come from a rural home she will need an owner who is willing to commit to further socialising and training. She will need help with her housetraining.
