Description

Penny was very nervous when her last owners got her form us is 2013, she spent the first three years of her life on a farm. She is a lot more confident and is great with most situations, but she still gets spooked by fishermen and golfers. Penny is used to being exercised on and off lead, her recall is good but can occasionally can get scared by loud noises. She has lived with adults and was okay with the visiting children who were 7 and 12 years old. Penny can bark at people she doesn’t know but will come round if given space. She has lived with a dog who she got on with. We are not sure if she would live with a cat as she has only met them outside and she barks at them. Penny is very affectionate and loves to swim and play.

History

Penny is looking for her new home due to the ill health of her owners- they are unable to exercise her.

Re-homing Criteria

Penny needs a home where she can be confidently walked and exercised, she can be spooked by loud noises and some men so she would be best walked on lead if in an unsecure area.

Penny would be okay to live with another calm dog, but she wouldn’t mind being an only dog as long as she got lots of attention.
