Big lad with a big personality!

Given his size and limited information about his background, Cooper is in search of an adult-only household. He gets on better with female dogs but would be best suited to a home where he would be the only pet to get 100% of his new owner’s time and attention. Cooper can be apprehensive of close handling and veterinary examinations, so his new owner will need to earn his trust and improve his confidence. He keeps his kennel spotlessly clean overnight suggesting that he may have been housetrained in the past.

History

Cooper came into the centre as a police welfare case.

Re-homing Criteria

Cooper is looking for an adult-only home where he will be the only pet with an owner who has experience with the German Shepherd breed. He can struggle with close handling so his owner will need to help him build his confidence, he is a very clever boy and will do anything for a treat! Cooper loves to play with toys so a home with a well-stocked toy box is a must for this boy.
