Smart, loving, and ready for his next adventure - Teddy is looking for the perfect home!
Teddy is a gorgeous Border Collie looking for a calm, child-free home where he can feel safe and secure. He would do best as the only pet—he doesn’t get along with cats and isn’t suited to a home near livestock. Teddy is housetrained and can be left alone for a few hours without issue. He has good recall but can pull on the lead and reacts to traffic, so he needs a rural or quiet home away from busy roads. Due to his hip dysplasia, his exercise should be controlled—he enjoys walks but isn’t suited for high-impact activities like repetitive ball chasing. He loves being groomed, travels well in the car, and will make a loyal and loving companion for the right owner. If you can offer Teddy the safe and peaceful home he needs, he’ll reward you with his trust and affection.
History
Teddy was handed in for rehoming due to being uncomfortable around the young children in the house.
Re-homing Criteria
Gorgeous Teddy is a clever and loving boy looking for a quiet, breed-experienced home. He has hip dysplasia, so although he does enjoy his walks he would not be suitable for high impact activities. Teddy will need a fully secure garden so he has a safe space to enjoy gentle off lead exercise. He is ok with other dogs out and about but he may prefer just meeting with them for play dates rather than sharing his home. Teddy would thrive best in a home without young children or cats. Teddy really does prefer a rural setting with not much traffic on the roads. Although his exercise can be limited this lad is so clever and is so eager to learn . He loves mental stimulation so he would love a family that can keep him engaged and give him the attention he needs.
If you are experienced with the breed and think you could offer him the home he needs and deserves please do get in touch !
